Who we are
The Hormone Method is a women's hormone health platform based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We are the controller of the information you provide through the app and website.
Information we collect
- Account details, name, email, language preference, profile photo, chosen membership tier.
- Health and lifestyle inputs, cycle dates, symptoms, sleep, wellbeing, measurements, weight, meals, workouts, habits, progress photos, body and skin scan images.
- Quiz and coaching content, quiz answers, check in submissions, messages to your coach, community posts and reactions.
- Transactional data, plan purchased, billing dates, and payment confirmations returned by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data, sign in tokens, device type, and error logs required to keep the app secure and reliable.
- Analytics and marketing data, page visits, device and browser information, and interactions collected by optional tracking services only after you consent to analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To provide personalised programmes, tracking and insights.
- To allow your assigned coach to review your progress on coached tiers.
- To power messaging, bookings and community features.
- To process payments and confirm access to paid content.
- To send account, service and safety related emails, and, when you have opted in, product updates.
- To improve the app and prevent misuse.
- With your consent, to measure site use and marketing performance.
Legal bases
We process your information under the following bases, depending on the activity, performance of our contract with you, your consent (particularly for sensitive health inputs and marketing emails), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running a safe and useful service.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to operate the app.
- Hosting, database and storage providers.
- Authentication and email delivery providers.
- Payment processors during checkout and subscription renewal.
- Your assigned coach and, where relevant, senior team members for quality of care.
Each provider processes information on our instructions and under their own security controls.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as you have an active account. If you close your account we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except for records we are required to retain by law, such as billing history.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your account and associated data.
- Withdraw your consent to optional processing at any time.
- Object to processing or ask us to restrict it in certain circumstances.

Sensitive health information
The Hormone Method is a wellness and coaching platform, not a medical provider. Health information you log is for your own tracking and for your coach's guidance. It is not shared with insurers, employers or any other third party without your explicit consent.
Children
The service is intended for women aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app or by email.
